I know this is a bit late but I’ve finally got round to writing a few words to thank you for helping us to have some fabulous holidays .

Thank for all the personal care and attention you’ve given us to ensure that every one of our holidays have been special and truly memorable . Whether its been Italy, Spain, Finland – your local knowledge of these countries just added to our overall experience. In Spain you helped us find so many special places off the tourist track. We were also joined by our American friends and we all had just the best time. You found us lovely hotels and great restaurants.
In Finland we would never have discovered so much without your tips. We did so much in that week – and we’d love to go back to do them again.
You do have an extraordinary knowledge of the world’s special places, and thank goodness you’re so keen to share them with us. We love your enthusiasm for all these places, it is so infectious. We only have to mention a place or a country and you immediately come up with ideas which you believe will be ideal for us.

Just to let you know we have had a super holiday and everything has worked out well, with all accommodation being good.

We have our 2 last nights in Georgetown. I think I originally said Idaho Springs and wasn’t sure what to expect here, but it is a fabulous boutique type hotel. I am writing this, having come back to our room for coffee on our private balcony with hot tub and view of Rockies.

The town is a gorgeous restored mining town.

Just a quick note to thank you for organising another amazing trip – the location was beautiful – I will remember the view of the beautiful cork trees and blue sky each morning from our french windows into the winter months! The accommodation was fabulous, with real attention to detail and the children revelled in the freedom to walk the dogs, feed the pigs and the donkeys and visit the emu at will with their international collection of pals, leaving us to relax! We all enjoyed the pool, tennis court and donkey rides and Monika and Peter were superb hosts. Your advice to fly via Faro was spot on and we also enjoyed our day/night in Faro.

We are just back from an excellent Swan Hellenic cruise on the rivers Rhone and Saone. Good weather, interesting company, and we were overwhelmed by splendid Roman ruins, medieval churches, and fine shipboard cuisine . Overall, magnifique – well done Active Travel Boutique!

Just to say, we have had a fabulous holiday in Burgundy and Champagne. All the accommodation was superb, but all quite different. We managed to blow the budget totally at our last stay at Chateaud’Etoges!

We had a fantastic holiday – I would really recommend it. The accommodation was fab. Great play area for the kids- we hardly saw them! Really good having a car for the last 5 days. Our flight wasn’t until 9 pm and they let us keep the car till 4pm so we were able to make the most of the last day. We went all over the island, lots of good things to see and do for a week. Thanks again!

Many thanks for organising such a great  family ski trip for us  over new year. The snow was  fab and we really enjoyed the wall to wall sunshine! We will definitely go back to the resort  of  Montgenvere and the accommodation again – the  ski in ski out location was great as was the outdoor pool  which was lovely although a little chilly! We are now looking forward to our Spanish trip  in August that you have organised for us and thinking about our skiing trip for next year!

Active Travel Boutique arranged a fantastic holiday to Thailand and Dubai for my wife and I on our honeymoon, which was seamless from start to finish. After the endless hours of organisation for our wedding, it was great to be able to have our dream holiday put together without any hassle. We started off in Thailand with Chiang Mai in the north which was a great mix of authentic Thailand city as well as a jungle expedition where we went rafting and rode elephants. The island of Ko Yao Noi off the west coast was complete paradise and a real gem, surrounded by other picturesque islands. By contrast, Bangkok was an awesome bustling city with some amazing night markets, bars and restaurants. Dubai was a complete contrast and allowed us the opportunity to live the high life for a few days! Overall, Active Travel Boutique pulled together the perfect honeymoon package thanks to his passion and knowledge for travel, and certainly comes highly recommended!

I would like to thank you for the best short break I have ever had, it was a fantastic experience and that is exactly what it was, an experience from start to finish. My brief was very simple, I wanted three nights away, between Christmas and New Year, I set a maximum budget and because it was only a few days away I did not want to travel too far.

A few days later I received an email with four choices of places to stay and was told that if I did not fancy any of those I would receive some alternatives. We ended up in a beautiful C12 converted abbey, set in magnificent grounds. All the features of the chapel and cloisters were used in the reception area and the bedrooms were traditional C19 with all the comforts of a modern five star hotel.

Using your services saved me hours, trawling through internet sites and it was a free service, in fact, it would probably have cost me more to book it myself. So again, I thank you for the experience and I have already recommended Active Travel Boutique to several of my friends.

We asked Active Travel Boutique to find us a holiday taking in the slot canyons and National Parks of America’s south west.

What they came back with was a simply awesome 14 night fly drive itinerary visiting some of the most amazing locations including Bryce, Zion and the Grand Canyon. We took in 3 states, over 10 National Parks and stayed in some amazing hotels, and even got a suite upgrade in Las Vegas!

He even came in under budget! We’ll be contacting you again in the new year to sort out Canada for us…..

Fabulous time. The hotel was fantastic and we had a small balcony and a lovely view of Lake Como. We had a superb meal in the hotel restaurant on the terrace and the food was great as was the service – lovely staff all in all.

The Grand Prix was amazing! A great day even if you aren’t into the racing – I would recommend it to anyone. Great fun family atmosphere with glamour and all walks of life.

Only regret was we couldn’t stay longer!! Again thank you so much the thought and knowledge which you provide which is priceless!!

Arranging a honeymoon in Madagascar was causing me quite a number of problems. How to get around, actually getting in touch with anyone to book and just a general lack of information.

I was put in touch with Active Travel Boutique and they provided the perfect itinerary. They really understood what sort of trip I was wanting and tailored the trip for us brilliantly. The guides and drivers we were provided were amazingly reliable and each accommodation was unique and totally unforgettable. The staff who we dealt with during the trip were incredibly friendly, flexible and helpful.

Just back home after a wonderful holiday to Morocco. Everyone wanted to pass on their thanks for a great trip. It is a beautiful country and you seem to have put together a great trip that covered all the things that we wanted. Only criticism is that we should have asked for a longer trip!!

My wife and I were looking for 2 weeks holiday along with our 2 American friends in Southern Spain . Active Travel Boutique suggested the first week on a walking holiday in the Alpujarras region of Spain . This was guided by an Englishman who is famous for his books about his life in this region . Their choice was spot on . The daily walks in this magical countryside were led by this entertaining and knowledgeable guide . There was never a dull day, and we stayed in a beautifully restored farmhouse overlooking the valley where our host Ann and her terrific chef Wes looked after us ensuring we were thoroughly relaxed and comfortable . This was a fantastic week . We would thoroughly recommend this location and holiday. For the second week we hired a car to explore the region for ourselves . Active Travel Boutique suggested 3 suitable locations for us to visit, including all the accommodation – his attention to detail was impressive even including places of interest to see en route, including suitable places to stop and eat. All the hotels in Cordoba, Seville and the last in a mountain village near Ronda were very special and totally right for our group . This was a truly memorable holiday for us all, thanks in the main to Active Travel Boutique’s choices and organisation. We can’t thank him enough and will not hesitate to use his considerable services again.
